From your calculations
Results you sent here with “Use in experiment” on a calculator. Nothing is added automatically, and using a value only prefills the assignment form — you still choose the wells and press Assign.
- No captured results yet. Open a calculator and press “Use in experiment”.
PCR plate plan
The reaction plan saved from the PCR Master Mix Calculator. “Add to plate” proposes a deterministic layout — samples first (A1, A2, …), then controls — using the existing planner. Your current assignments are never overwritten without an explicit choice, and every transfer can be undone.
No saved PCR setup yet.
PCR setup has changed since this plate plan was applied. The plate still shows the previous plan.
The planner already contains assignments. Choose what to do — nothing changes until you decide.
Plate-aware preparation
Calculate how much of a material to prepare for the wells that actually need it — derived from the current plate, never guessed. Values you enter are marked “you entered”; values BiomeBench computes are marked “calculated”.
Extra volume beyond what the wells require, to cover pipetting loss. 0 % means prepare exactly the calculated amount — BiomeBench never adds dead volume silently.
Saved preparations
- No preparations yet. Select wells (or name a condition), enter what you are preparing, and press “Calculate preparation”.
Consistency & Spatial QC
All clear — no consistency issues found.
BiomeBench compares what you planned on the plate with what you said you are preparing — preparation targets, assigned volumes, conditions, and captured calculator facts — and describes spatial patterns across the plate: neighborhood differences, contiguous regions, isolated wells, edge/interior arrangements, and gaps in supplied groupings. Spatial findings are observations from the plate geometry, never claims of experimental failure. Findings are derived information, never stored, and nothing here changes your data automatically.
Findings
- No findings — the plan, preparations, and captured context agree.
Showing the first 40 findings — resolve the highest-severity items to see more.
Protocol / run-sheet
Run-sheet ready — no blocking issue detected.
The run-sheet is generated from your current workspace — plates, assigned wells, preparations, and captured calculator results — and can be regenerated at any time. Anything you did not supply stays marked “Not specified”; BiomeBench never fills in experimental parameters. The pre-run review reflects the consistency check, which is derived information and never stored.
Captured runs
Audit history
No audit events yet.
A read-only change journal of meaningful actions — captures, exports, and workspace changes. It is traceability information, not scientific data: viewing it never restores or modifies your workspace. Events stay in this browser only.
Portable package
Export your workspace and captured runs as one versioned BiomeBench package file, or restore from a package you exported earlier. Everything happens in this browser — no account, no upload. Importing validates the whole file first and asks before replacing anything.

Assignment
0 wells selected
Click a well to select it. Ctrl/⌘-click adds or removes wells; Shift-click selects a rectangular range. Arrow keys move between wells, Enter or Space toggles selection, and Escape clears it.
Value and unit must be provided together.

Providing any replicate field requires all three.
